Fee change notice — hosted services
Notice id: fee-change-2026-08-hosted-services · Published: 2026-08-21 · Earliest effect: 2026-09-20
What is changing. From no earlier than 2026-09-20, ArisPay-operated hosted services may carry a service fee of up to 150 bps (1.5%) of settled value per settlement:
- the hosted PayGate proxy (
paygate.arispay.app/{slug}), and
- netted payout distribution (batched settlement credits through the NetSettlement contract).
Any fee applies only to sellers with an ArisPay relationship (hosted-proxy merchant or netting participant), charged at payout or invoice time — never by altering an on-chain payment.
What is not changing
- Open settlement stays free. The public
/verify and /settle API carries no facilitator fee, before and after this date.
- Self-settled transactions stay free — submit from your own key; the facilitator is never involved in the transfer.
- Buyers are never charged by ArisPay.
- Non-custodial settlement is unchanged: funds move directly from buyer to seller on-chain; ArisPay does not hold funds or operate balances.
- Gas pass-through is unchanged: exact cost, zero margin, recovered at netted distribution.
- The notice rule is unchanged: any change to fees or the launch gas allowance comes with at least 30 days' published notice.
Before any charge begins
The exact pricing model and figure will be published as a fee-schedule entry referencing this notice, and re-advertised in the machine-readable fees block of /supported. A fee cannot activate until this notice is at least 30 days old — the gate is enforced in code (getActiveFee), not just by policy.
